Proposed & Seconded
A prospective member is invited to join the Club by an existing member, who will propose the application. The current member must be an intermediate or full member of five or more years standing and seconded by a further two members, also with five or more years standing.
Joining Process
- Application form obtained and completed by the proposer, supported with a detailed letter of recommendation from all
- Playing in round with two members of the Club, likely from the committee
- Notice of application visible on the notice board for a four-week period. During this time, the application will need support from an additional four members of at least five years standing
- If the candidate has received the requisite support after the four-week period, their application will be considered by the Captains' Committee for approval
- A member may propose one Candidate in a calendar year or a second if the first Candidate is elected a member within that year

If you do not have a proposer or seconder but wish to join The Luffenham Heath Golf Club, please follow the guidelines below:
- Contact the Club Manager via letter, email, or telephone
- Interview with the Club Manager and Captain, or member of the membership committee
- Following this, the candidate will be invited to play at least three games of golf with existing members of at least five years standing, with the intention to support the candidate's application
- Complete the application form and submit a full CV
- Enclose a letter of recommendation from your current Club (if applicable)
- Once the above has been satisfactorily met, the process will follow that of a fully sponsored application, outlined above
